Private Tours

The Complete Freedom Trail is available as a private tour — and we have three other tours that are offered only as private tours.

Tours available only as private tours:

  • “Walk & Roll” Mobility Tour: Don’t let a lack of mobility slow you down when visiting Boston. The Mobility Tour packs a lot of Boston into a one-mile, no curbs tour.
  • One Hour Tour: Looking for a quick walk-around without the big time commitment? Check out this quick visit!
  • Beacon Hill & Back Bay: If you’re looking for a visit to the two most beautiful neighborhoods in the city, you just found it. Spend 90 minutes exploring and discovering the best of Boston!

Why Book A Private Tour?

Guaranteed Availability: Great tours sell out. Booking a private tour insures that your and your family and friends won’t be disappointed. You can check to see what dates may be reserved for a private tour by initiating the reservation process (the “Book Now”) on the tour description page and selecting “Private Tour”. This will filter out all dates that are unavailable.

Group Size: Most of our public tours have limited capacity to make sure the experience is optimal for all guests. When you reserve a private tour, you control the group size, whether it’s just two or three people or if you have a group larger than our public tour capacity. The choice is all yours.

Timing: Your tour starts at the time most convenient for you and your guests. If you need an early tour before a Red Sox game, or need to get to the airport on departure day, we can generally accommodate any request.

Value: For groups larger than our standard tour capacities, you’ll find the per-guest cost is actually lower than the public tours. Note: All private tour prices are indicated on their respective tour pages.

Customization: Want to add something special that interests your group? Just ask. We can do anything from adding a special stop to creating a once-in-a-lifetime experience, perhaps a helicopter ride around the oldest lighthouse in the country or a “ride-along” one a local lobster boat.
