Private Tours

The Complete Freedom Trail is available as a private tour on days when public tours are not offered (that’s Monday, Tuesday and most Sundays). You may also take a tour “private” on any regularly scheduled tour date as long as there are no other guests reserved for that date.

Why Book A Private Tour?

Guaranteed Availability: Great tours sell out. Booking a private tour insures that your and your family and friends won’t be disappointed. You can check to see what dates may be reserved for a private tour by initiating the reservation process (the “Book Now”) on the tour description page and selecting “Private Tour”. This will filter out all dates that are unavailable.

Group Size: My public tours have limited capacity to make sure the experience is optimal for all guests. When you reserve a private tour, you control the group size, whether it’s just two or three people or if you have a group larger than the public tour capacity. The choice is all yours.

Timing: Your tour starts at the time most convenient for you and your guests. If you need an early tour before a Red Sox game, or need to get to the airport on departure day, I can generally accommodate any request.

Value: For groups larger than our standard tour capacities, you’ll find the per-guest cost is actually lower than the public tours.

Customization: Want to add something special that interests your group? Just ask. We can do anything from adding a special stop to creating a once-in-a-lifetime experience, perhaps a helicopter ride around the oldest lighthouse in the country or a “ride-along” one a local lobster boat.

Cancellation Policy: Please note that private tours are subject to a stricter cancellation than public tours. You have seven days prior to your tour date to cancel and receive a full refund. Contact me for more details.
